I just finished this modification this weekend. The backpad middle section is removable so that I can get to the firewall access panel. The middle section has been recovered in black leather. It seems to match the vinyl fairly well.

That is great idea for 6 conversions too. easy access for dizzy, belt and timing. (I know flywheel marks, but just as easy with the pannel to look at the pully.)

I want to do this now...well not right now... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
