Don't think you'll be finding them at Automotion. (Not ones made for flared cars).
But let us know. |

OK here's a pic. Does not appear that Automotion sells "flared bumpers".

AIR, but the quality of their glass is pretty bad. http://www.americaninternationalracing.com...galleryid=26448 Misha (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) Thank you very much. I found a place in Canada that has them as well, but I suspect they just order them from AIR Themselves. They do carry a lot of body kits & fender flares however, all of which can't be from AIR. Here's the link: http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/PORSCHE914.html (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) The showcars bodyparts is the place I got mine from, and the guy at the body shop said that they would have been better off using the used ones from my parts car, because they had to do just as much FG work on the new ones as the old ones. In addition, they have front and rear bumpers listed as flared, but only one of them is actually available. thirdly, I ordered at the end of march, and they quoted 2 weeks and it took them over 2 months to arrive at my body shop. The only good thing was they charged $100 for shipping for both F and R, as opposed to $100 each like places like performance products. they did come out looking good, but that was after a LOT of body shop time. take a look at my photobucket account to see full pics. search for gopack42 and look at page 6 of the pictures. they fit like crap, so if you aren't willing to do a lot of FG work i would pass on them! (IMG:http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g75/GOPACK42/DSCN1872.jpg) Just wanted to share my experiences. |

My body shop guy used the end of the flared rocker panel I got from Performance products to make a mold for the foam blocks used to make the flared ends of the bumpers. I would never have been able to do this my self, so weigh yoru skill level carfully! |

I spoke w/ John Brewer at AIR & he informed me they have rear bumpers but not front. Apparantly they used to but somehow that mold got broken & they need time w/ a real car to build another. Wow, I had no idea I had opened up such a hornets nest with this topic! |

Can you find out if he used the front or rear part of the rockers flare to mold the extensions? Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

Johny,
I have a flared 916 bumper that I just took off my car. If you are interested I would like to sell it. The bumper is in great shape and I only removed it to go with the GT look. See attached picture... Steve Attached image(s) |

See attached picture... Steve WOW what a pretty car! Thanks for the offer however I just placed my order in w/ AIR & decided to chop up the rockers on the car now & use the ends to modify the front. Does that baby blue have an oil cooler up front? Good luck w/ the GT look. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
