April 21 & 22 Drivers Ed!!!!!

Dear Driving Enthusiast,

http://www.pcafcr.org/driverseds/driverseducation.htm

Let's face it - you bought a performance car and it probably dawned on you that now might be a pretty good time to learn how to drive it in a lot of different situations and weather conditions. The roads around Jacksonville aren't getting any safer either, so Florida Crown Region has a safe and fun answer for you: Drivers Education.

In 2007, there are several drivers ed events scheduled at Roebling Road Raceway outside of Savannah, Georgia, and we look forward to hosting you for one or all of them. First and foremost, these are NOT racing schools (all egos should be left at home), but a wonderful opportunity to develop your driving skills and enjoy your car in a relatively safe environment. It's certainly safer than some of the I-95 merge ramps! You want racing; call Bob Bondurant or Skip Barber.

We just don't have fun on the track either. Our Friday and Saturday night socials are legendary in the Southeast and bring together a variety of auto enthusiasts (and liars!) who are there for the same thing you are - fun and camaraderie. These events just aren't for the guys. We welcome ladies and young drivers 18 or older. Remember: you're never too old OR young to learn.

This great track is both fun and challenging for any level of driver - novice to instructor - with 2.1 miles of turns and straight-aways. Join FCR for a weekend of Southern hospitality and pure Porsche driving fun at Roebling Road. FCR is one of PCA's pioneer regions in conducting driver eds and due to the nice year round weather, events fill up pretty quickly, so get going and learn about the capabilities of your car and YOU. Non-Porsches are welcome too

The next time some idiot pulls out in front of you or traffic is crazy, you need to think about singing up for a drivers ed. They're safe and educational and just might save you from an accident or injury some day.

See you at the track!
