Replaced the Master Cyl last nite why is there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) two connectors and only one male connector on the Master cyl. And I think its the brown wire with the white stripe you use to plug in whats the other brown only wire a ground??

The old MC's had to be grounded through a wire (solid brown)...New style grounds through the case so you only need the Brown/White...Cut or tape back the solid Brown...You don't need it...

Another question answered by the Tech Tips 700! The early master cylinder switch has two connections to trigger the brake warning light, the late cars have one, the ground for that switch being through the master cylinder. The nice thing about the later switch is that is has an external reset button hidden under the little rubber boot!
