Last week CDI ignition, this week voltage regulator. Did some running around with her today. Got home thought I'd replace the ignition harness with the one Capt Krusty sent me. Got that done, started the engine, checking things out, brought the revs up, voltmeter starts reading 17 volts, oops.
Shut it down, pulled the regulator, 1 of the bars on the bottom rusted away. I'm surprized it worked at all. AND it waited until we were home to fail, is that cool or what. Check out the pic, might want to check yours. Attached image(s) |
