What is the closest color of orange/red to paint Koni struts? I was going to paint them red, but have decided red just isn't right. Is it a chevy orange or chrysler? not sure, i'm soliciting opinions.

I've restored all mine with the PlastiKote 117. You can get it at Pep Boys. It's virtually identical. I recently had my spindles raised 18mm. Follow along:

A little fuzzy but you can see the factory color on the insert (top) and the PlastiKote 117 on the dust cover (bottom)

Completed... dropped the old "Classic" decal in favor of the standard Koni triangle.

I think that's a little too bright. Here is a Koni Classic for a 356.

Check out photo #3... maybe I'm blind but it was nearly impossible to tell the difference.

And... if anyone got under my car and bitched about my Koni color I'd kick their ass (while they were down there of course) and tell them to go in search of a life...

They have several oranges... the number (#117 as I recall) is what you want to look for.
