Mark/andy/aaron et all:
I was thinking, would it be possible to setup subdomains for the forums to provide easier access? So for example http://garage.914world.com to go right to this forum. It occurred to me today as I navigate the site on a mobile device...thoughts? |

It's certainly possible, but why incur the additional expense?

It's certainly possible, but why incur the additional expense? Huh? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Creating a subdomain is merely a configuration item. If I could charge for subdomains, I'd be rich, I tell ya! Rich! |

The 1st link, http://garage.914world.com took me to the 914world HOME page.
Gint's link, http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showforum=2 opens GARAGE. This link, http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php takes you to the INDEX which let you open any of the forums behind the door of your choice. Just make INDEX your 914world favorite since it's already there. Open the door to any of the 10 forums by a single click. |

right....and i have that done on my personal machine.
my point was if you are using someone else's mobile device to get a quick fix (like I was) it would be nice to type in a url and get where you want to be. the site isn't exactly mobile friendly.... like paul said, it takes less than a minute to setup what i was talking about...whatever not a big deal. happy st. pattys! |

This is all in SirAndy's court. He's the only one set up to make those sorts of changes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
