hey guys-

early boge strut question (73 911),
is the one piece that contains the steering arm, spindle, caliper mount - that is rosette welded to the strut tube, Forged? or Cast?

It was my understanding that all the spindles are forged carbon steel regardless of year or model, castings are too brittle for this application. Bilstien to the best of my knowledge manufactures them and supplies to the other manufacturers.
