I was headed South on I-65 toward the beach last Saturday around noon and spotted a black 914 heading North. It was around Greenville, Alabama, just South of Montgomery.
You hardly ever see a Porsche around here and especially a 914. It was a major emotional event for me. I would compare it to any normal Southerner here spotting Elvis at a B-B-Q joint. I was curious if it was anyone lurking around 914World. Rich (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

We are supposed to come in for Derby, but not sure how much time we'll have. We have some friends flying into Alabama from Oregon and riding up with us so they can go to Derby. I think we may try to go to the Oaks, but really don't want to go Derby Day. I'd rather go to some Derby parties and Chuck or his sister usually has a nice Derby party.
I would like to hang out and do some Porsche stuff. I'd like to see Tony's new six and see what work Chuck has done to my old six. Probably drive into Louisville May 3 and leave Sunday, May 6.
