I wonder how many units would have to be ordered to get the RD guys to stamp out early 914 bumpers and front/rear valances?

I spoke to Bill (RD) about this last week. YOu can buy them new from Porsche...so there really is no need to go after that market when you can still buy them new.

Now.. that being said. If enough interested was generated.. he would consider doing it. The stamping dies and trim dies run him 40-50k apiece. Selling bumpers at say 200$ apeice.. would take him awhile to recover and show a profit.
