How much does a 1974 914 weigh stock? I'm getting mixed results when looking through google. everything from 2,000lbs to 3,000lbs. Whats the real deal?

Yea I was going to guess 2150. Which is pretty close depending on options. Justa smidge or the legal limit for SM2.
So who think the SCCA has thier head screwed on a bit crooked.

workshop manual says 1000kg/2200 lbs for both 1.8 and 2.0 (page 2.1 - 1/5)

I've weighed several cars and the results was posted here at one time.
Linda's 72 weighed in at 1997 with 1/4 of a tank of fuel. 1.7 w/D-Jet.
Beauty weighed in at 2206 with 3/8 of a tank of fuel. Overweight -6.
Tony's suby conv. weighed in at 1888, and I don't recall how much fuel he had in the car.
I'm looking to get Carerror to sub 1700.
