BAT Porsche Cooling

Sorry no way to link to the page inside their pdf booklet. But if you click on the "booklet" then scroll down a few pages you will find what I am talking about.

It is a variable fan thermostat that uses a probe mounted to the cooler vs a thermo coupler that ties into the cooler lines.

Spoke to one of the techs there. He admitted that it probably wasn't as accurate as the thermo coupler types but pointed out that the setup comes with a variable switch to kick on the fan between 160F - 210F so you can tweat when the fan comes on.

Also pointed out that it is much easier to install as you don't have to monkey with tapping into the oil flow.

Anyone tried this?
