Well looks like I won't collect anything off of the "Fire Porsche". So I guess I will start pulling off all the parts that didn't get damaged.

Front half of the car is reasonably good sort of sooty but not burnt. Geez I wish I had the yellow car here so I knew what to keep/ transfer.

Rear trailing arms good, not sure of the bearings as the were new 2 months ago but got really heated in the fire.
Factory rear sway bar, Factory front bar,
Whole front suspension good shape. Front hood and latches good Paint bubbled but not warped.

Unibody is in good shape so if you guys need some body panels or suspension consoles tell me where to cut.

I also have some 914/6 struts no hubs.

No windows, no rubber, no plastic bits. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowtorch.gif) Make me an offer and pay for shipping. What is left will be dragged to the wrecking yard.

Fiberglass limited edition style front spoiler. no damage from fire. I think one of the corner screw holes has a small crack. I have been holding with a bigger washer. I didn't list it because I am unsure if I need it. Pm me with an offer.
Stock metal rocker covers. need repaint, no rust

I need the front trunk seal "U" channel that goes around the headlight and more parts than I can list. How is the rear trunk floor?

Thanks

-Pete

Sorry about the fire. You convinced me to go out and pull the tank out of mine, that thing had 1/2 a tank of gas. I would hate to see what would have happened, it's in a borrowed shop to, Yikes!

I need a hood and I'm just in Jackson, MS! Not too far away. (Compared to all these Yanks and West Coasters anyway!) How much do you want for the hood? I'd drive down sometime to pick it up and have an opportunity to meet a fellow teener enthusiast (read "Crazed 914 Collector" !). I'm also interested in the swaybars and hardware.

Thanks,
Matt

rhaas, Yup got a 74 black steel bumper. You have a PM. I don't think I have asked to much for any parts. But then again if I did let me know so I can move this stuff. That goes for all ya'll.

I will start turning wrenches Wed evening. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

I didn't mention that both front fenders have had the side markers welded up. Someone will have to explain how to get these off with out destroying the panel. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowtorch.gif)

I am guessing that you need the little rubber hood bumper supports. Pm me and I will get them going.

Since nobody is interested in buying my parts. I will supply the junk yard it will go to rest in. You can go buy it from the man.

If you make an Offer I would probably take it. But I won't pay you to take the parts. ( I am cheap too.)

It will be a couple weeks before I can haul it off. Only so many hours in the day. No electricity in the house yet as I am rewiring the whole deal. Now I know why electricians get paid so much what A PAIN IN THE ASS. Of course in 1974 the electrical code was different. (slack) now it has to meet todays code. 1000 feet of wire new outlets new junction boxes, dedicated circuits, GFI, Smoke alarms, ect. I am doing this myself because nobody else can get to it till after Xmas. Got to get the Mother in law out of my house!!!!

Mike's sawzall party is first so I'm going to hit him up for parts first. We'll see how that goes. I may be bugging you in a few weeks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Sorry, I didnt' see until just now that the front of the car at Mike's party is spoken for. In that case, I'll put my request in now on the car you've got. Here is the picture. I need both sides. From just inside the spot welds all the way to the fender. I can cut away what's left of the fender if want to leave a little attached.

Thanks Joe.

Just the only really bad spot on the car. Sorry I think I have a tad more metal than that. I did make a bracket and rebuilt the bumper support so I could hang the bumpers.
