I have an original silver car that I'm about to paint. The trunk area has been repainted by the previous owner. Is the trunk and engine compartment fully painted with metal flake and clear coat or is it silver without the metal flake and clear?

It is the same allover the car. No difference in any area including the cabin, both trunks and engine bay.
