OK,
Given I just got two engines...reffered to in the paperwork as phase one and phase two.... The story is that one is a 1.8 and the other is a 2.3.... They both have Duel Webers. The both use the 1.8 liter heads (I assume bored out...came with a few worked over 1.8 liter heads... They both have the same cooling fiberglass... Is there a way to measure which is which???? The only difference is the dizzy... I am thinking that maybe I could measure the outside of the cylinder to determine which one is bigger??? Or, some other measurement... I little help to determine this... PO bought it, never raced it...and sold it 7 years later.....so he remembers little... The builder I am searching for...... Anyone in Florida know Ken Long... He had a foreign car shop here....did SCCA in the late 80's and early 90's in the Northeast and headed down there in the late 90's... his daughter is racing a corvette...Ken is her mechanic...I think he no longer races.... Thanx |
