(early grey 911 struts w/ 3 inch brake spacing)
I started assembling the different bits collected over several years
yesterday and the bearings in the hubs I have are just slightly too
tight to fit on the spindles. They get just to the end of the bevel and
no further.
Is this a mismatch in years/strut type/ something else?

(anyone got some 3.5 struts and calipers they want to get rid of?)
