AMCO aftermarket console with brushed stainless inlays:

It's actually very comfortable for shifting as your arm stays at just the right height. It's made to house gauges, but I blocked off the gauge holes and moved my head unit to the console.

Dan, I put a 914/6 GT replica fuel gauge in the console when I added the 911 combo gauge to the dash.

Four speed transmission with the V8.

Where can you buy an amco consoles? Did that come with the arm rest?

Also did you upholster your dash? According to getty's website they need upholstering.

I too am interested in an AMCO console. I've tried some searches but haven't had much luck. Do these consoles offer a little more "foot" room around the accelerator over a 914 console?

They come up on e-bay occasionally,
sold center console
That one's missing the top obviously. There's plenty of room for my feet as you can see, and there is nothing better than the arm rest on long tours.
