Type 4 Align Bore Bar. Alignbore bar bores all main journals to insure your align bore is straight and to size with hydraulic feed driven by a drill motor. Unlike some bars this tool has the ability to be checked and reset easily with the proper jig (Picutre below). Cutters can be changed if damaged or dulled (not likely for awhile with carbide) and reset easily using the proper calibration tools. One bar can be used for several different size cutting operations instead of relying on multiple tools. This is facilitated by having multiple cutter sets instead of multiple bars. Fit and finish on these parts is awesome and makes for a higher level of precision than bars previously available. Each operation takes 5-10 minutes to complete the from start to finish. Cutting speed is exactly .001" per revolution so cutting force is very low. hand made in Southern California by a good friend of mine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) Set includes: Hydraulic feed align bore bar, 2 sets of cutters, front centering ring, drill motor drive adapter, thrust cutter, thrust stop, sleeve driver, protective box with lid for stand and instructions. $1500.00 Alignment Tools for cutters and checking bar are $50-$100 depending on tool. Additional or Replacement Cutter Sets $200 Carbide Tips $30 Item may take up to 30 Days to Deliver as these are made to order bars. Type 4 Head boring and Surfacing tool. - $225
Type 4 Case boring and Surfacing tool. - $225 Centering Rings of differing sizes- $50 also custom made, these will bore heads to size, surface them and deck the fin to the proper height in one operation. These are made to order so you can specify what size cutter you would like, and also alternate sizes and spacings for your specific applications (think 911) . The centering rings allows quick alignment in of the head or case to your cutter. Can be used in both heads and cases and works with head or case cutting tools. Attached thumbnail(s)
