I'm getting desperate to get my car up and running. I'm looking to replace a rear wheel bearing, troubleshoot the FI, Grill good food and consume hoppy beverages.

May 13th at a Columbia site to be determined. -- [color=#FF0000]CANCELLED (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) -- Love you Honey! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

We could do it at my house..

I have a compressor and most all of the tools needed...
you can also see a motor apart and help disassemble a transmission.

but you would have to help sand my chassis....
I am in Woodstock, just the other side of I70...herb

That would be FANTASTIC! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Do you have a grill? I'd bring all cooking materials, drinking materials, and food.

Would love to but this weekend is nuts. I'm teaching both days, having a Cinco d'Mayo party on Saturday (you're welcome, by the way) and prepping for the week on Sunday.

Party starts here at 6pm, if you're interested

I work in baltimore. While it is doubtful that I would be able to make the 13th (I am trying to get my car painted this month) I would be happy to help at other times after work.

Just let me know.

I'd LOVE to do this. But the car does not currently have an engine, tranny, wires, wheels, doors, windscreen, etc etc. Its just a tub on a rotisserie.

I am considering it. It depends on a couple of things.
I wish there were an extra one or two days to every week. Then maybe I'd have enough time to do all the stuff I wanna do.

Hmmm, don't know if I can make it on the 13th. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Ms. Babydoll wants me to look at Babydoll on the 12th, and she's down in NoVa. That leaves me with the 13th to do all the weekend yard work that I normally do on Saturday.

If the Babydoll thing falls through, I'll probably come out though. Zach's quote bears repeating...

A wrench just got thrown into the wrenching!
My lovely wife has very astutely noted that the 13th is Mother's Day.

I'm going to have to can the event, but I think Zach's onto something. Let's see if we can put some afternoons together to get each others cars done. Most any afternoon is good for me, with some notice.

Herb, I'd still like to come over on the 13th (3pm-ish) and help sand, capiche? I'll bring the beverages.

Ha! Funny you should mention that. Ms. Babydoll has decreed that since it's Mothers' Day, she gets to be the decider, and as such she decided that she wants Babydoll back on the road so as not to miss this fine driving weather. So I get to educate her on how to tell the difference between D-jet injectors not spritzing and spark plugs not firing.

(And consume some hoppy beverages, hopefully... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) )
