Scenario: driver calls last night 11pm, says the car will be here at 7am, long story short, I get a few more calls and the car will be here between 3 and 6pm. I'll update..

Ok, It's after 12, where are the damn pictures? Did the driver make it? The tip goes down more and more as the minutes tick by.

But seriously, yes, the concept of customer service is disappearing. Or maybe I'm just getting old enough that I can complain about everything going to hell...

I thought you guys in Berkeley did that naturally... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

No, I thought our special gift here in Berzerkeley was to see that this decline in customer service is just another example of How The Man Is Keeping Us Down by turning us against each other.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)
This is different from my college in the 80s, where our special gift was to see this as just another plot by the forces of white male-dominated, global patriarchal corporate oppression...
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/yawn.gif)
I'm so glad I left all that behind and took a job with a Big Evil Bank. Now in exchange for my paycheck I just, you know, oppress the helpless, tread upon the downtrodden, do a little light soul crushing of the people working with me. So satisfying!

rmital said he spoke to Jon and it's arrived. You seriously think he's going to be thinking about us when he's got a shiny new toy in the driveway? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Congrats Jon, that's a fine looking car. Though two of those pictures jammed together made me worry for a second that somebody had cut and sectioned the front trunk... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
