Origional question - "I've just installed my new wide band o2 sensor, and got some lean readings.

I started the car, and my o2 readings were around 20, then as the car warmed up, the readings finally leveled off around 12. I can get the gauge to read up to 14 - 16 when feathering the gas, but it idles constantly around 12.

The mixture adjustment screws don't seem to do anything at all. I can turn a screw all the way in (to close off the gas supply), then open it all the way, and the engine sound / AF ratio never changes.

Where do you guys think I should start? I've made alot of progress with these carbs, I just need to learn how to fine tune them to get them perfect."

I would love to know the answer rather than deleating the quiestion.
