When you watch the movie 2001 space odyssey and you realize that the dimensions of the monolith, 1X4X9 (the squares of the numbers 1, 2 & 3) can be rearranged to read 914.

(IMG:http://www.jeffyorkes.com/uploaded_images/2001_Monolith-724815.jpg)

Or when you are doing a calculation at work, and you convert 3 feet to millimeters, and you realize that it comes out to exactly 914.4 mm. And you say "cool!"

You might be a 914 redneck... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ravenna914.jpg)

Or you wake up on Sunday morning after arriving home at 1:15 the previous night, check the clock to see how long you slept, and notice that the time is 9:14.

This happened to me yesterday. True Fact!

When you are working on your 914 project in the front driveway and are astonished that the people in the cars driving by don't immediatley slow down, back up, park and walk up to say hi and check out your totally cool project.

When you interview for a job and proudly explain that yes, you have in fact been arrested, because somebody called your 914 a VW and you beat him senseless....
