I have a set of Camp914 driving lights on my car and as I was getting ready to install the front bumper I noticed that the wires had come loose. The light has a white and black wire and the ones on the car are brown and white w/yellow stripe.
Which goes to which? |

Typically light bulbs dont care.
I would opts for the house wiring color standards. Black is hot, white is not. Or, go to the pilot web site and RTFM. Rich |

Use your multimeter's continuity/Ohms function to determine which wire is connected to the socket housing and connect it to the brown wire on the wiring harness (brown is the standard color for ground).
While the bulb doesn't care about polarity, if the lamp socket is grounded internally to the housing, switching the wires will result in shorting +12 to chassis ground. |
