On the way home my car developed a little clicking sound going around slow right hand corners. It seems to be coming from the right-rear. I've checked the four bolts holding the CV joint to the axle shaft and they are tight. My question is: how long can I drive it this way and how will the CV joint finally let go? I want to do an AX at Marina in a couple weeks and don't think I can get it done in time.
Also, how do I know which one is bad. Do I have to disassemble them and check for worn parts? Thanks for any help on this. |
