You can delete this or move this where you think it belongs. I just got off the phone with Danna Stroud from the fair grounds office. She promised me open dates, And base line costs will be sent out to me by email. She is shooting for today but most likely Monday. I'll forward what she sends me. I had to exagerate a little. I told her we could get up to 225 cars plus vendors. Once we have an idea what the cost will be we can always down size or rule this in or out.

BTW: She told me she wasn't sure the surface in their black top would be good for an AX. Someone with experience with black top surfaces should do some spy work. Sounds like a painted on coating or something. She was not upposed to the idea though. We'll need to work into that one during a negociation.

Anyone have any other research let me know.

The pavement isn't buttery-smooth and new, but it didn't look too bad to me. I didn't notice any major chuck-holes or anything like that. I'd describe it as a bit rough but passable.

the surface at the ramble wasn't great, AND it was wet. So, unless this is horrible, it's probably ok. It'll just be part of the character of this particular course.

I got the sense the auto cross not on the list of things they have allowed before. I think if it were to be part of the event we would need to meet with the management and sell them on the idea while we walked the grounds with them. This will take cunning, and timing. I'm not saying it won't happen it will just take the right person, timing, contract preperation, and cash in hand. All the questions will have to be answered on the spot. This is a job for the Bradster. (Or myself..can you say plane ticket? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) ) Ya I know...My ears get caught on the door jams all the time.
