i have a stock 1600 in the car and i have a 1776. i want to put the 1776 in it, but i dont know if i should re-jet the stock carb or get a larger one?

a set of 40idfs jerry. hard to believe one of those tiny single barrel carbs could keep up with hopped up 1776. look at thesamba, a good used set here, t-1 forum @shoptalk.
