Looks like everyday driving on the streets here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Those fans are dedicated or they have lots of Southern Comfort. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I wanted to build the 72 to use it for ice racing here........ so many projects so little time.......

I watched that too. It looked like a lot of fun. But, a bit too cold for me.

We have several water retention ponds in the city (big ones) so the rain storms don't flood the sewer systems. One of these is used by the local race guys as a ice course. It's about 15 min from me. The other courses are all within an hour drive.

Park your rig at the side of the course and tailgate party. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well, the boston chapter of bmwcca has an ice racing series...I am getting the 320 ready for it this winter. The races start around late January, you can put in as many people as seatbelts, dunnage in the trunk, this should be a blast!!

Its just like auto-X, except they let people push you out of snow banks!!

Now for the studded blizacks!

i was surprised to see alain prost was there. they drove incredibly fast for a sheet of ice. the walls must have been as hard as concrete.
