This appears to be a nice looking 73 2.0 with no reserve. Short sale auction keep your fingers at the ready.
Gint checkout.

Is that a stock color? Is that side decal original?

Yes that is a stock color, I have one that I am cleaning up. The wipers are missing. In San Diego you don't get a lot of times that you need them. It is probably something the buyer can workout with the seller.
Good luck Gint.

I'd be a lot happier about it if I could get someone to look at it. For that matter, I'd be happy if the seller would contact me.

I'll turn my cell on Gint.

Let me know if you have a standard fuel gauge for a 914 (the whole thing) one of my friends needs one in SD and it would be nice to send him one if he goes and looks at this car for you/us. He has been around 914's for 10+ years and owns a nice V8 914 caged/turbo braked/factory black 73.

OK, no temp. But early with the silver button in the center or late without?

Thought I'd let you guys know... I'm out.

The seller is flaky and paranoid. She agreed to a PPI, but won't answer the phone all day today. The ebay auction just went to $2879. I wasn't going to pay much more than that without knowing that the longs and suspension consoles weren't trashed. And the fact that it's a California car is NO gaurantee that they aren't. See my "rusto" thread in my sig if you have doubts about that.

So, if you're of a mind too, have at it.

18 unique bidders nickel and diming it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

It's kinda fun watchin it now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif)

This auction is creepin up slowly but surely.

I emailed the seller and left her some feedback about how I feel about sellers that can't communicate. Especially near auction end.
