My dad and I did it for my fiberglass 916 bumpers, the linked thread is good to look at (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) . You have to remove the shocks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) , cut off the flanges (for the old rubber) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) , drill holes (for the new bolts) and then devise a spacer type deal for the new bumper .

Yup, it's that easy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)
