Found these FS on ebay. See the ebay link if you want them.

What was interesting is that the press release says the 914/6 chassis was lengthened, widened and lowered 4"!...It must have been only 2" off the ground! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I think this is from the San Francsico Examiner newspaper archives. The Tapiro was apparently on the car show circuit and made it to SF.

I could never understand why they would have gone to such extents with the articulated doors, yet not the single wiper.

But, the gals in all the ads from that era were exotic. Sex sells. Now, porsches ads (& for many years) are boring.
