Is there a reason not to ceramic coat the stub pipes of a header system???

Brad Mayeur just had my entire 34 year old exhaust system done. Expects it to last a really long time. It's a light gray color and looks much better than pure rust!

Because the Stubs are stainless. (won't rust) and it retains heat just fine.
