In a box of parts i bought i found this starter, i don,t think it,s for a 914,because of the nub on the front of it. To my best recollection it's for a V.W. But i can't remember, ( that happens a lot now a days) can any one identify it, or where i can chase down the part numbers below: it has on it; Bosch Made in Germany 0 001211998 997 EF 12V 07PS VW 311 911 023C I tryed to post pictures but was told file is to big????
