"The numbers on this car are most impressive: the 5.7-liter 612-horsepower (European rating, U.S. rating not yet available) V10 engine takes the car to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds on its way to a top speed of more than 200 mph. Part of the secret to the Carrera GT's performance is lightweight technology. The chassis is built out of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic, providing high strength for an unladen weight of around 3,000 lbs. The first Carrera GT models produced at the Porsche plant in Leipzig, Germany, will be delivered to customers at the end of 2003. "
I notice they left out "how much?"...but as I have to ask I guess I can't afford it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

There have been a couple of these on ebay, a kit car that was very well done, it had "I beleive a Fiero motor" Also many brkers are selling a purchase position for th Carrera GT.
I sold a 914 roller body to a fellow who has one of these on order, and if you saw his garage you would not doubt him. I asked him if I could have a ride in his new Carrera GT after he took delivery, he said yes. I will definetly take the camera. CCLinLOO |

At least it's more "sports car" than that SUV thier now selling.
If they would let me borrow one for a few days I'll make molds of the body for everyone. |

Dude, I think they'd give you one to try out, just tell 'em who you know and more importantly let them know that almost all your friends are Porsche pushers and some own several. Yeah, that should do it. Jim (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) |
