Picked up this '78 Deluxe in Seattle this past weekend. Zany! My wife's owned a few over the years. Me? Not even close. But after having it for just a few days it's already really growing on me. So damn fun to drive! And it is my teener's cousin, after all, especially w/ that 2.0 under the, uh, "hood".

Ah hell, one more just for kicks. We've got a 6-month old daughter and are really looking forward to camping around the Pacific NW over the next few years in this thing. Gonna be fun! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Wow, looks clean. Brings back memories.

I had a '75. Same yellow, but two-tone (yellow lower, white upper). Not a pop top, mine was a special order 9-passenger with brown interior.

Those Fuchs would look great on it!
