My friend is interested in an Alaska blue metallic 914 for sale, I will probably go with him to check it out and want to be sure that it is painted in the correct color.

This one is supposed to be Alaska blue also, but it doesn't seem right when compared to the original example above. Too bright.

that one (the one above) was actually my gemini blue 72 that was repainted a little darker, alaskan blue has a slight tough of green in it compared to the one above

It seems a bit off from alaska blue metallic to me. Opionons? I think its pretty close, perhaps a shade too dark, mine is pretty close to that in certain lighting conditions. Nice car...I hope mine looks that nice when I'm done. |

Judging from the fact that the wheels are color coded to the body, I'd say its a respray. If someone doesn't mind non-original looking wheels, they might also not mind their car being off from the factory color. So, I would bet that it is another blue. Look in the trunks to be sure. That car looks like this blue" "Metallic Blue" is the color name.
