Do the tests run on alternators at FLAPS verify amperage of the unit?

If not, what is the best way to verify an alternator is 95 amps and not 50 ??

I would say that they should be able to test for max output. If the FLAPS cannot do so, find a rebuilder; they have to be able to do so.
If it is a stock alternator, then it requires a lot of tricks to get it up to 90 amps, and they are not cheap.
