I've been convinced by a higher power (my wife!) that I need to get away from spending 3 hours every night "playing" on this forum. My right hand is screwed up, can hardly type & what I do type takes forver because of a splint.
Though I will still "moderate" for the next 3 weeks, my "insights" will be minimal. Time for more of you guys to impart your wisdom. I'm taking some time off from here & then going to our place in Hilton Head for some more time off & hand R&R. Won't be checking every day, but just enough to make certain we don't go off topic. To get back to the subject, the Hilton Head Concours is the first weekend in November and we have been invited. It is a very good event and I think that if we take a 914 that is pristine it would be well received.
The problem is that it is the same weekend as the rennsport reunion where we are taking some historically significant street 914s like the M-471 the 916 a limited edition and the motortrend car of the year. Is there anyone in our group who would be willing to enter a pristine 914 in the judging at Hilton Head? By the way Pat I will be in Hilton Head from the 31st of Aug to the 3rd of Sept if you would like to hook up |
