I've been doing misc. work on my hell hole, SS fuel lines, injection back on....etc. The engine has not run in 7 months. Before I put the engine back in the car should I put some sort of lubricant down the spark plug holes?

Thanks, Dave

If it has been all sealed up for those seven months then I would say no.

My toys sit all winter for six months at a time and I never do anything.

With that said though... we you do go to fire it up crank it without spark for a minute or so just to get the oil flowing.

maybe pull the fuel pump relay too - no gas to dilute the oil.

If its been sitting a while, a little 'spritz' of "Marvel Mystery Oil" in the jugs wouldn't hurt ... adds a bit of lube until the pump sends oil everywhere it needs to go ...
