I'm wondering how all the do-it-yourself upholsterers manage to staple their new vinyl on the panels. The original staples were only 1/8 long, and I can't find a single stapler for less than $300 to handle such small-leg staples.

So how is everyone else doing it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)

TIA,

Gerard

Loctite super contact cement!

So far no issues through a wet season.

Get a Dou-fast Model CS-5000 with 3/16 Dou-fast staples Part# 5006-C.
Use a 1/8 staple for doubled or bunched up material...

Thanks Chappy. I was all over their site and couldn't find something like that. I was focused on 1/8" leg staples, and most their staplers are listed for 1/4" min staples.

I'll give this a try.
