aftermarket 914-6GT style
they even have 914 rails on them already. will slide them in next week and give them a try at the GGR #8 AX at Marina. If they work the way I think they will then I will get the bottom modified for a 5 point su Attached image(s) |

Those look like they should work pretty good. Where'd you find them? See you at Marina. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) fellow on the "other" board. they fit my posterior very nicely and my shoulder harnesses should fit well between the posts for the headrests. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) then I will have the seat bottoms modified to accept my 5 point sub belt. |

If the shoulder harnesses end up chaffing your neck you can go with Caribeeners (sp) connected to the posts so the belts tend more outboard. Where is your harness bar in relation to the seats?

harnesses are bolted to the firewall.
And Chris, I have no idea what I am going to do with the seats and covers. If you want them you can have the seats and covers for $50 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

From previous threads I've read about the upcoming changes, I would think you won't pass inspection with your belts routed as such... |

aye, theres the rub....
I don't know at this point. I am going to be having the sub strap hole upholstered into the seat so the only thing that would remain a question will be the shoulder harnesses, and since they would be routed inside the uprights for the headrest, they could not come off my shoulders, so....???? we shall see. |

aye, theres the rub.... (...) we shall see. Please keep us posted. I would appreciate knowing any feedback, positive or negative, that you get from a tech inspector. Thanks!! Guess it will be determined by how our PCA region Competition Director feels about it... Oh Wait, I am the region Competition Director (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) In all seriousness, our Drivers Event Committee and other folks including our Zone Representative will be getting together next week to discuss this and other topics at length. but then again, I am the competition director (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |

Thanks Rick I don't have a cage...just an Autopower rollbar with the forward Petty Bar. I made custom backing plates and the entire thing is bolted in... I will be at Marina this Saturday for a GGR AX. |
