I removed my fuel pump to relocate it up front and when I turned it over to drain the gas this little piece fell out of it. Is this a fuel pump part? Where does it get reinstalled? The fuel system is stock 1973 2.0 fuel injected.

Bic ball point pen tip . Probably ,Maybe, Somebody plugged the fuel line with it ,and when removing it the tip came out. Weird.

Yes, closer inspection it does appear to be a ball point pen tip.
