I want to mount a 914 tac under the dash of my 65 bug and need a way to hang it.
All ideas are welcome.
Thanks

Could prove to be difficult. The stock tach is FAT compared to the Autometer tachs (they neck down real small for the mounting on the back).

You could take a 914 gauge cluster frame and cut the ends off of it. Make one end L shaped and use it to mount the gauge. Round the bottom off to match the tach curvature.

I am hoping to find some sort of cup that the tac would mount in with the stock rubber.
I have a bracket and hose clamp but that looks like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)
