I'm the chairman of the RR3 History of Porsche Cars Display which is being held at Daytona Speedway on November 2-4.

Auto Atlanta was bringing 5 914's for the display but last week George notified me that he will not be able to attend and had to pull all his cars out of the event. So now I have the challenge of coming up with a nice display of 914's with only a little over 2 weeks before the event. I will bring my Sahara Beige 914 and I also got the Mark Donahue 1974 2 Liter Times Mirror Car confirmed. But I still need the following:

A nice stock original condition 914-6 and a 1975-1976 rubber bumper car.

Is there anyone out there that is coming to RR3, has one of these cars and can display it on Friday November 2nd thru Sunday November 4th? If so, please email me at the email address below.

Thanks,
Steve Gaglione

I have a friend with a very nice 914-6, he bought it new and it still looks like it. I'll try and reach him. Too bad the engine is out of my 76 or I would bring it.

Steve, Let's just go take my neighbors car, put your spare interior in and were good. What about Joe and your old SIX?

Change the title of your post to something like " Help needed for the Rennsport Display" I breezed over this post several times before clicking on it. Sorry to hear about the gap.

BVD,
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from your friend with the 914-6.

T.C.
Joe can only attend one day and I need a 6 for all three days. You may want to ask your friend with the yellow six if he want to purchase my very, very nice orginal black 1970 seats and backpad from my old 26,000 mile 914-6.

Rick,
Thanks for telling me about changing the subject line of this thread.

Paul,
I forgot about Doug's silver 914-6. Thank you for contacting him for me. I'm sure he will be at RR3.

BVD,
I talked to your friend and I have a feeling that getting his car there for 3 days will be too much trouble for him.
