I just noticed that the 914-VW-Porsche emblem has an angular '914' while the USA 914/914-6 emblems are rounded... Hmmm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Yeah,
I noticed that a bunch of years ago, but shrugged it off as the diff between euro preferences for angular design & US "warm & fuzzy".

Jon - compare your original emblem to the Euro in Mark's pic. You'll see the diff in the edges.

Compare the corners of the 1 and the 4 with the logo at the top of the page. The euro emblem has sharp angles and the US has rounded.
