how many different vaccum advance units VAU are there - there sure are lots of different distributors - does each have its own unique VAU ?? i did not see pns on the VAU - do i need to look closer? jim

I'm not sure how many there are, but I do know there are some adjustable versions with a set screw.

Hundreds. The number is stamped on the arm. 3 or 4 digits, and it refers to the old long style part number. You need an old Bosch parts book to translate the number. I have such a book. Some numbers are still available, many aren't. The Cap'n
