I have a new Engman pedal board that I want to put in the car but don't know exactly what to do about the carpet.

If I install the board and put the carpet in, it will cover it up.

What did you do when you installed one?

Pics?

I also put carpet over mine. It just lays there, no adhesive. But I have a rare engman solid board(no holes), and I powdercoated it wrinkle black. If you want to show it off, you could cut the carpet and pinch the cut edge down with the pedal board.

In a race car, I'd be showing off me 'Swiss Cheese' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

... in a DD, carpet over the original floorboard is just fine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

GT Carpet (rubber mats) kits from Morph don't cover the board. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I have carpet on mine, but if I take it to the track for a DE or something the mats come out and it's there to be seen.

Alan:

I bead blasted the Engman board to get that dull, clean, satin finish, clear coated and left it exposed...

But, I have painted the tub first and everything is pretty clean...Well, as this picture shows, I need to vacumm...
