Oil pressure light: is the green/red wire pos or neg? I am putting the instrument panel back together and it appears the other wire to the idiot light is pos.

Also the Alt light, is the blue wire pos or neg and is the other pole a pos wire?

There's a red/white wire that is power for the warning lights. The green/red wire for the oil light and the blue wire for the alternator light provide a ground path for the lights. They are not strictly a pos or neg connection as the potential changes. For example, the blue wire for the alt goes to ground when the engine is off and measures 12v when the engines running.

Thanks EJM, I thought about this last night and worked out that the senders must provide a NEG (ground path) because they're on the case and the ALT is NEG when the key is turned and lights up until the ALT starts creating electricity.
THanks for confirming wiring is not my forte (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
