Curiouser and curiouser,

1. Was Rollin Titsworth really the owner of a "built-up" /6?

2. Will we ever determine just how many 914s still survive?

3. Will PCNA finally issue a correct CoA to our Forum moderator.

4. Does an early 914 rain tray even exist that will meet Pat Garvey's expectations?

Anyone else have unanswered queries to threads that have remained "hanging"?

Answers to the aforementioned question"

1. Ill be talking to "Rol" thiss week - he is in his 80's now, so we'll see.
2. No!
3. I've written 2 letters to PCNA, with no response from either. I may have to get nasty, which is out of character for me.
4. Yes, but Addidas won't let me have it!
5. This wasn't one of your questions - but I have one. After more than a year at Stoddard, will you ever get your 914 back? Will you have the guts to come to Charlotte with it? I'm going to enter in the Resto class, even though I haven't restored my 914!
Pat

ps: I hate to have to add this, but Paul & I are best buds. We kick each other in the teeth for about 30 years now, so don't get offended. Paul, you should be challenged!

1. I supplied Pat with the phone #, now we wait.
2. Absolutely, once they are down to a dozen in museums.
3. Please define correct...
4. Yes, but the lost warehouse is, well, lost you know...

You obviously haven't been paying attention! I hate everything that isn't original, or restored by original methods.

But that's just me. Yep, a skosh anal about those things.

Carry on.

Apologze to "Neun" if there was a hijack here.

So I take it that you'll be sporting the correct tires at Charolette next year. <grin>
(Yes I feel a bit better today.)

Why do you have to keep bringing up the damned tire thing!!!!!! I haven't made a final decision yet & I just want it to go away. If I can find period tires that don't require tubes, I MAY bend.

Crap, we just hijacked this thread again - sorry!

Happy to hear you're feeling somewhat better James.
