I remember posting a question about -4 headers last time I was in this country and a reply from Jake was, something along the lines that I may want to hold off on a purchase

You might want to wait a few months before getting super serious on this purchase ;-)

as above...

umm so is there a RAT 914 option in the works or er ummm

I really appreciate all the responses, and the offers from the PNW gang. only downside I see with the eurorace/triad/msds is the no-heat thing. cause defrosters are nice

Yeah, that would happen with most every header you go with unfortunatley. Heat's over rated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That header would be good if you replace that muffler and tailpipe with just 24" of straight pipe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Racer Chris does have one heat exchanger option for the Tangerine header. Evidently not a lot of heat, but good for defogging the windows.

QUOTE(Dan (Almaden Valley) @ Feb 1 2008, 10:47 PM) *

actually the Triad header for the 4 cylinder looks very much like the Eurorace header on my car. Very different than the Tangerine.

That may have been the one I have seen. I don't remember for certain which it was. I was getting my six headers when I was looking at them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I knew that Triad made /6 headers . . . from looking at pictures I made the assumption that they just resold Eurorace's for /4s. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
