Auftragsnummer='Contract Number'='Internal Project Number'

We've heard about Porsche's 'internal project numbers' especially for the prototypes, but I have never seen a complete list of them. 914/6 GTs for their racing program also had internal project numbers.

The partial lists out there intermingle Porsche 'Type' (=model) numbers, with their internal project numbers adding to the confusion. So I searched and tried to make sense of what is out there posted below. Turns out, a lot of 914 project numbers are missing descriptions...can you help fill in the missing information?

See the door jamb label of a well known prototype...

Are there other known Porsche design projects related to the 914 thast should have Auftragsnummer?

Thanks in part to data from Glenn Stazaks great page on the 914-6 GTs

914/55 is VIN 914.143.137
Look to be a GT but may have been used for something else

Is that VIN correct Glenn? It looks to be missing a digit.

based on my info, 914.0.43.1605 & 1621 were planed, but never built (as GT)
therefore there are no project codes
